天風一族の宝を狙う玄武に、天風一族の長であり実の父親を殺された蘭は捕まってしまう。あらゆる拷問にかけても口を割らない蘭に、業を煮やした玄武は蘭の記憶を奪い、そして洗脳してしまうのだった。洗脳された蘭は「朱雀」と名を変え、玄武・青龍・白虎に加わり四天王の一人として名を連ねた。洗脳された朱雀（蘭）は天風一族の宝のありかを聞くべく、自らの手で天風一族の残党を次々と狩り拷問をかけていくのだった。そんなある時、一族の残党との戦いで朱雀は攻撃を受けてしまう。攻撃を受けた箇所は別状はなく、一人部屋に戻り仮眠をとる朱雀だったが急にうなされてしまう。攻撃を受けたと思われる場所に、実は洗脳を解く技をくらっていたのだ。ようやく長かった洗脳も解け、記憶を取り戻した朱雀は玄武に復讐するべく立ち上がるのだった。玄武の下でいつの間にか力をつけていた朱雀は簡単に白虎を倒し、青龍もあと一歩の所まで追い詰めるのだが、玄武の呪いの術にかかってしまう。呪いにかかってしまった朱雀に、玄武と青龍が襲いかかる。朱雀の運命は・・・
